Catalpas

While Catalpas can be quite a bit of extra work,
primarily due to cleaning up their seed pods,
they really are beautiful.

These photos are of their flowering in early June 2007
at my Bay Village house.

These images are of two of the three Catalpas I have on my property.

The biggest is on the north.

The next biggest is on the west and is pictured on the right.

Recent road and drainage construction has been pretty rough on the trees on the west along Bassett.
But they seem to be doing quite well in spite of this.

This gives a closer look to the flower clusters.

Not having lived around Catalpas before I didn't know that
so many flowers would fall and cover the grounds.
It's really quite beautiful!
